Licensed in Indiana as masters-level Marriage and Family Therapist and Mental Health Counselor, Sandy Berry, LMFT, LMHC, works with individuals and also specializes in working with couples. She is certified in Gestalt and Imago Relationship Therapy and uses these therapeutic frameworks to help clients create a sacred space where healing and growth can occur. Therapy is a place where people can search for a future good of some kind that is realistically possible but not yet visible.
Her focus when working with couples is to help them understand how conflict is a natural process and that it is an attempt for each partner to grow toward health. With this understanding, couples are more able to provide the care and love that they long for from one another.
Sandy graduated from Indiana University with a bachelor’s degree in business and from Christian Theological Seminary with a Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy. She is a Clinical Member of Imago Relationship International, The American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy, and Indiana Association for Marriage and Family Therapy. She volunteers with organizations that improve the lives of the homeless and those who have suffered from domestic violence. Sandy has been in private practice in Indianapolis since 1996. |
