Imago Works in Three Different settings:  Couple or Individual Counseling, Intensive Couples Workshop, and "Getting The Love You Want." Couples Workshop.

Imago Therapy works by developing skills that create safety, compassion, and understanding in relationship. Couples are taught to talk with one another with intention and in a safe structure called the Intentional Dialogue.  By using this dialogue, partner's are able to enter into each others emotional world with curiosity.  This curiosity allows each partner to remain open and to begin to see their partner's point of view without judgement.  When understanding is gained, compassion, love and passion return to the relationship.  And, in addition, we begin to heal old wounds thereby reclaiming our original wholeness.

Individual Therapy also focuses on learning about childhood wounds, how unconscious influences effect relationships, breaking destructive patterns, and creating or maintaining satisfyng and fulfiling relationships.  Individual and couple couseling sessions are range from 50 minutes sessions weekly to 1 1/2 hour sessions bi-weekly.  The cost is $90 per 50 minute session and $130.00 for 1 1/2 hour.  Both types may be covered by insurance.  Please be sure to ask when you schedule your first appointment.

Intensive Couples Workshop is for couples who desire complete confidentiality and privacy.  This intensive is highly effective for couples who are at an impasse or wish to redirect their relationship.  It is also beneficial for couples who must travel from out of town and have difficult schedules and cannot attend a regular "Getting The Love You Want" workshop.  The workshop will be tailored toward the specific needs of the couple and cover topics in the  "Getting The Love You Want" workshop.  This is a one-day 8 hour intensive meeting.  Please call Sandy at (317) 252-5518, ext. 7, to arrange a convenient time.  The cost is $600.00 per couple.

The "Getting The Love You Want" workshop helps couples heal the history each brought into the relationship from childhood, other relationships, and their present relationship. This healing re-creates the joy, love and connection couples experience in the beginning of their relationship. It is an educational workshop, not therapy. The educational format allows each couple to work together and does not require sharing of personal information. The workshop is designed to respect and protect the integrity of your relationship. The only thing you will be asked to share is your first name. And the opportunity is there if you want to share more.  You are welcome to share as much or as little as you are comfortable with.

Workshop Schedule
Days:    Saturday and Sunday
Times:   Saturday 9-7 and Sunday 9-5
Breaks:  Breaks are built in throughout the day.
Continental breakfast and snacks are served each day. 
Lunch on your own is scheduled for one hour each day.

What is the Cost?
The workshop fee includes, registration for 2 people, 2 workbooks, continental breakfast each morning and refreshments in the afternoon. This does not include hotel, lunch or dinner costs.
• $600.00 per couple ($325 for LMSW, LMFT, LMHC with 18 CEU's and Clergy)
• Partial scholarships are available, so please ask if you cannot afford the entire cost.

Cancellation Policy
All of your payment except a $100 administration fee will be refunded. This $100 may be applied to a future workshop if you attend within one year.
